Cancellation Policy

Effective date: [Date published]

This policy applies to bookings arranged through FlyFortyOne LLC, operating as FORTYONE.

1. How to request a change or cancellation

Email support@flyfortyone.com with your traveler name, booking reference, travel date, and requested change.

Contact us as soon as your plans change, preferably before departure. A submitted request does not mean the airline reservation has been changed or canceled. We will confirm the outcome in writing.

2. If you cancel before ticketing

Contact us immediately so we can ask the booking provider to stop issuance.

If we confirm that no ticket has been issued and fulfillment has been stopped, we will refund your payment in full. If ticketing has already occurred, the issued ticket’s cancellation conditions apply.

3. If you cancel after ticketing

Refunds, credits, and cancellation charges depend on the ticket-specific conditions disclosed before payment and applicable law.

Some tickets may be nonrefundable or have restrictions on changes and credits. We will explain the options for your booking, including any deadlines or fees.

Any FORTYONE cancellation or service fee must have been disclosed and accepted before purchase. We will not introduce an undisclosed cancellation fee afterward.

4. If we cannot fulfill your approved trip

If we or our booking provider cannot issue your approved trip within the agreed ticketing timeframe, we will offer available alternatives.

You may decline those alternatives. If you decline and have not used any part of the trip, we will refund the full amount paid to FORTYONE for that trip, including our booking service.

If part of the trip has already been used, we will refund the amount attributable to the unfulfilled portion, including the associated service fee, without limiting any additional rights you may have.

You do not have to accept a different route, travel date, or cabin in place of the trip you approved.

5. Airline cancellations or significant changes

If the airline cancels or significantly changes your flight, we will help you review your options.

Where applicable law entitles you to a refund and you decline the changed itinerary, replacement transportation, or alternative compensation, your refund rights remain intact—even if the ticket was originally described as nonrefundable.

We will not require you to accept a voucher instead of a monetary refund when a monetary refund is legally due.

6. Booking-provider cancellations

If a ticket is canceled because of an issue with our booking provider’s sourcing or issuance, contact us immediately.

We will offer available replacement arrangements for your approval or an applicable refund. If an unused trip cannot be restored as approved and you decline alternatives, we will refund the amount paid to FORTYONE for that trip, including our booking service.

7. Changes you request

Changes to dates, routes, names, or cabins depend on availability and ticket rules.

We will explain any additional fare, provider charges, or service fees before you authorize the change. Requesting a change does not secure the replacement flight.

8. Round trips and separate reservations

When a round trip is issued as two one-way tickets, each reservation may have different conditions.

Canceling one direction does not automatically cancel the other. Tell us whether your request applies to the outbound flight, return flight, or both. We will review both reservations and explain the consequences before proceeding where possible.

9. Missed flights and no-shows

If you expect to miss a flight, contact us and the operating airline immediately.

Missing check-in or boarding may affect the value of your ticket and any remaining flights on the same reservation. Refund or rebooking options depend on the circumstances, ticket rules, and applicable law.

10. The 24-hour cancellation rule

Do not assume your booking includes free cancellation within 24 hours.

The federal 24-hour reservation or cancellation requirement for airlines does not automatically apply to bookings made through third-party travel agents. Any cancellation window available for your booking will be disclosed before payment.

11. How refunds are paid

Refunds owed by FORTYONE will be returned to the original payment method unless another method is legally required or agreed with you.

We will process refunds within applicable legal deadlines and confirm when they have been submitted. Your financial institution may take additional time to display the credit.

Where FORTYONE is responsible for a refund, our provider’s delay in reimbursing us does not remove that responsibility or extend a legally required deadline.

12. Your rights

This policy does not waive your statutory refund rights, payment-dispute rights, or other remedies available under applicable law.
